Six Strike - Double Assault

Six Strike - Double Assault was introduced in the Rage of the Abyss booster set, released as part of the ongoing evolution of the Six Samurai archetype in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. This card functions as a specialized support spell, designed to expand the tactical capabilities of the 'Six Samurai' theme by enabling additional offensive pressure during the battle phase. Its release reflects the game's tendency to periodically revisit legacy archetypes, providing modern support to ensure older strategies remain viable within the contemporary competitive landscape.

The card was illustrated by the internal design team at Konami, who maintained the aesthetic consistency of the Six Samurai series, which draws heavily from historical Japanese samurai armor and feudal motifs. As a common rarity card, it was crafted to be easily accessible to players looking to bolster their decks with thematic utility rather than high-end chase rarities. Upon its inclusion in the set, the card was received as a situational but useful utility piece for dedicated players of the archetype, valued primarily for its ability to bypass certain defensive boards.
