Sky Dragoons of Draconia

Sky Dragoons of Draconia was released as part of the Clash of Rebellions booster set, which hit markets in the mid-2010s as the third core booster of the Arc-V era. The card serves as a notable entry in the 'Draconia' series, a collection of Normal Pendulum Monsters designed to support non-effect monster strategies. It was developed by Konami as part of their effort to integrate Pendulum mechanics into traditional archetypes, offering players a way to utilize the Pendulum Summoning system while maintaining the aesthetic focus on classic, fantasy-inspired dragon warriors.

The card was illustrated by the internal design team at Konami, characterized by the distinct, high-energy fantasy art style common to the Trading Card Game during this period. Upon release, the card was viewed primarily as a functional piece for collectors and players focused on Normal Monster synergy, fitting into a niche but dedicated space within the game's competitive landscape. Its inclusion in Clash of Rebellions helped flesh out the Draconia lore, providing a mid-level monster that could be leveraged for its specific Pendulum Scale and typing.
