Springans Booty

Springans Booty was released in 2021 as part of the Lightning Overdrive booster set for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. The card is tied to the Springans archetype, a group of FIRE-attribute Machine-type monsters introduced in the Phantom Rage set. The design concept centers on a thematic narrative within the game's lore, where the Springans crew—a band of scavengers operating in the desert regions of the Abyss—utilize this card to manipulate the field and provide tactical support to their mechanical machinery.

The card’s artwork follows the established aesthetic of the Springans series, characterized by high-energy, industrial-themed illustrations that emphasize the crew's camaraderie and scavenging nature. As a common-rarity spell, it served as a functional piece of support for players utilizing the archetype's specific 'Xyz material' mechanics. While not a centerpiece of competitive meta-play, it is noted by collectors for its role in rounding out the mechanical identity and visual world-building of the wider Lightning Overdrive collection.
