Synchro Chase

Synchro Chase was released in early 2020 as part of the Legendary Duelists: Magical Hero booster set. This set was designed to support iconic archetypes used by protagonists from the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime series, specifically focusing on characters like Yugi Muto and Yusei Fudo. The card serves as a dedicated support piece for the Speedroid archetype, providing essential utility that reflects the high-speed, combo-oriented nature of the deck seen in the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's series.

The design of the card emphasizes its function as a field spell that protects Synchro Monsters while facilitating their rapid summoning. Like other cards in the Legendary Duelists series, the illustration and mechanical design aim to bridge the gap between nostalgic anime moments and competitive play. It was received by players as a necessary inclusion for any serious Speedroid strategy, valued for its ability to prevent the opponent from responding to Synchro Summons, thereby securing the player's momentum during a duel.
