Where it came from
Tally-ho! Springans was originally released in the 2021 core booster set Blazing Vortex, introducing support for the Springans archetype within the Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game. The card was designed to facilitate the graveyard-reliant playstyle of the Springans, serving as a pivotal piece of utility that allows players to special summon members of the archetype from the graveyard while providing an opportunity to replenish resources through a draw effect.
The 25th Anniversary Tin: Dueling Mirrors reprint, featuring the code MP24-EN322, continues the tradition of making competitive and archetype-specific cards accessible to a wider audience. Like much of the artwork in the Springans series, the card features the whimsical, mechanical aesthetic typical of the archetype's design language, characterized by a fusion of naval-inspired weaponry and compact, industrial figures that reflect the creative direction of the Konami design team.
