The 13th Grave

The 13th Grave was released as part of the Legend of Blue Eyes White Dragon set, the inaugural Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game booster expansion launched in North America in 2002. As a normal monster card, it reflects the early design philosophy of the game, which leaned heavily on gothic and macabre aesthetics inspired by the manga’s darker roots. It serves as a foundational example of the base-level monsters that populated the game's initial card pool, intended to provide entry-level playability for new duelists.
