Where it came from
The Seal of Orichalcos originates from the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters anime, serving as the central artifact of the Waking the Dragons arc. Representing an ancient, corrupting power, the card was famously used by the villain Dartz to manipulate the souls of his opponents. Its physical iteration as a playable Trading Card Game card was long awaited by fans due to its dramatic impact on the show's narrative.
This specific printing, featured in the 25th Anniversary Tin: Dueling Mirrors, adopts a Secret Rare treatment designed to highlight the card's mystical, otherworldly aesthetic. The artwork retains the iconic, jagged geometric seal familiar to followers of the series, presented here as a modern collectable that celebrates the game's quarter-century legacy while grounding the card’s legacy in a accessible, commemorative release.
