Tiki Curse

Tiki Curse was released as a common trap card in the 2011 Storm of Ragnarok expansion for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. This set drew heavy inspiration from Norse mythology and introduced the Nordic archetype, aiming to integrate themes of gods, heroes, and ancient folklore into the established competitive mechanics of the game. The card features art depicting a totem-like entity, consistent with the set's broader aesthetic shift toward mythological motifs.

As a common card, Tiki Curse was widely accessible to players during its initial release. Mechanically, it functions as a support piece for the Tiki or Statuesque archetype, allowing players to transform their trap monsters into additional utility on the field. While it did not significantly alter the high-level competitive landscape, it is well-regarded by collectors who focus on the complete documentation of the Storm of Ragnarok set and those interested in the niche history of trap-monster support cards.
