Provenance

Where it came from

Tour Bus From the Underworld was released in early 2012 as part of the Order of Chaos booster set. This card was designed as a thematic expansion to the popular Tour Guide From the Underworld monster, which had become a dominant force in competitive Yu-Gi-Oh! play. By mirroring the aesthetic of the original guide, the developers aimed to provide players with a support card that facilitated graveyard recursion and maintained the underworld-inspired motif established in the GX era of the franchise.

The artwork was produced under the direction of Konami’s design team, featuring the same distinct, macabre-chibi aesthetic that characterized the archetype. Upon release, the card was received with significant interest by the competitive community due to its status as a Secret Rare. While it did not reach the same level of ubiquity as its predecessor, it remains a notable piece of the game's history, representing the mid-era focus on graveyard interaction and field manipulation.
