Tri-Brigade Fraktall

The Tri-Brigade Fraktall card was introduced as part of the Tri-Brigade archetype, a group of Beast, Beast-Warrior, and Winged Beast monsters first released in the Phantom Rage booster set in late 2020. Designed as an integral starter for the archetype, the card features an effect that allows players to send a Tri-Brigade monster from the deck to the graveyard, facilitating the graveyard-reliant playstyle that defines the faction. Its inclusion in the Legendary Arc-V Decks as a reprint made this strategic engine more accessible to players looking to utilize the Tri-Brigade core.

The artistic direction for the Tri-Brigade cards emphasizes a gritty, post-apocalyptic aesthetic, portraying the monsters as nomadic warriors scavenging through a desolate wasteland. Illustrators for the series focused on a cohesive mechanical-biological hybrid look, featuring characters adorned in scavenged armor and weaponry. Upon its release, the card was widely praised by the competitive Yu-Gi-Oh! community for its consistency, becoming a staple in high-level tournament play due to its ability to enable complex combo sequences and efficient board building.
