Provenance

Where it came from

Triangle O was originally introduced as a common card in the 2008 set Tactical Evolution, designed to support the Ojamagician and Ojama monster archetypes. The card was created by Konami as a niche utility spell, intended to facilitate the special summoning of Ojama monsters from the deck by rewarding the player for sending specific Ojama cards to the graveyard. Its design aesthetic aligns with the eccentric and humorous nature of the Ojama series, which intentionally contrasts with the more aggressive or tactical themes found elsewhere in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game.

The 2024 Dueling Mirrors 25th Anniversary Tin reissued this card as an Ultra Rare, elevating its presentation for modern players and collectors. This reprint serves as part of a commemorative effort to celebrate a quarter-century of the card game by bringing back classic, thematic support cards with modernized foiling. While the card remains a specialized tool for dedicated Ojama players, its inclusion in the 25th Anniversary collection highlights the enduring legacy of the game's more whimsical monster designs.
