Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier

Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier first appeared in the Hidden Arsenal 4: Trishula's Triumph set in 2011, serving as the titular centerpiece of the Ice Barrier archetype. Its design, characterized by a fearsome three-headed draconic form, was intended to evoke the legendary power of the icy peaks from which it originated in the game's lore. The card quickly became infamous within the competitive scene due to its powerful ability to banish cards from the opponent's hand, field, and graveyard simultaneously, making it a defining staple of the Synchro era.

The Battles of Legend: Light's Revenge release in 2017 featured this specific Secret Rare printing, which reintroduced the iconic monster to a new generation of players. By utilizing a high-rarity foiling process, this version of the card was designed to celebrate the history of the game's most influential monsters. It was received as a highly coveted collector's item, balancing its status as a historical powerhouse with the aesthetic appeal of its intricate, shimmering holographic art style.
