Provenance

Where it came from

Twin Twisters is a versatile Quick-Play Spell card in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game, first introduced to the competitive meta in the 2016 set Breakers of Shadow. Designed as a utility tool for backrow removal, the card requires the player to discard one card as a cost to destroy up to two Spells or Traps on the field. This mechanic was specifically engineered to provide players with a way to disrupt an opponent's field while potentially setting up their own graveyard-reliant strategies, making it a staple for high-level competitive play.

The 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II, featuring card RA02-EN060, serves as a celebratory reprint set that highlights iconic cards from the game's history. By offering various high-rarity foiling treatments, Konami intended to provide collectors with premium versions of essential utility cards. The design remains faithful to the original aesthetic, maintaining the card's function as a defensive and offensive tool while elevating its visual appeal through the specialized holographic printing processes associated with the Rarity Collection series.
