Tyranno Infinity

Tyranno Infinity was introduced in the Cybernetic Revolution booster set, released in 2005. This set is widely regarded by players as a pivotal moment in the history of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game, as it introduced the Cyber Dragon archetype and established a faster, more aggressive tempo for the game. As a Dinosaur-type monster, the card was designed to capitalize on the growing focus on graveyard-based mechanics, rewarding players for banishing cards from their own graveyard to boost its attack power.

The card's design features an aggressive aesthetic characteristic of the mid-2000s era of the game, emphasizing raw power over complex utility. While it did not reach the competitive ubiquity of its set-mate Cyber Dragon, it became a cult favorite among casual players who enjoyed building aggressive Dinosaur-themed decks. Its mechanical identity as a 'banish-for-power' monster helped define the identity of the Dinosaur creature type in the game for several years.
