Ultimaya Tzolkin

Ultimaya Tzolkin was introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game in 2015 as part of the Clash of Rebellions: Special Edition set. It represents a significant departure from standard Synchro Monster mechanics, as it cannot be traditionally Synchro Summoned but instead must be Special Summoned by sending a Level 5 or higher Tuner and non-Tuner monster with the same Level to the Graveyard. This unique design was intended to bolster Synchro-based strategies by allowing players to summon powerful Dragon-type monsters directly from the Extra Deck.

The card's design draws heavily from the aesthetic of ancient civilizations, featuring a mysterious, stone-hewn deity or machine that fits the 'Maya' naming convention.
