Vennominon the King of Poisonous Snakes

Vennominon the King of Poisonous Snakes first appeared as an Ultra Rare card in the 2007 set Tactical Evolution, representing the centerpiece of the Reptile-type deck strategy championed by the character Professor Viper in the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX animated series. The card was designed to function as a powerful boss monster that scales in strength based on the number of reptiles in the player's graveyard, effectively rewarding players for utilizing graveyard-focused resource management.

The version from the Ra Yellow Mega Pack (RYMP-EN069) was released as a common reprint, serving as part of Konami's initiative to make influential cards from the GX era more accessible to the casual player base. While the card is often noted for its intricate, menacing artwork depicting a coiled, serpent-like entity, it is historically regarded more for its thematic contribution to the Reptile archetype than for dominating the competitive meta, where its high cost and fragility often hindered its viability.
