Vodnika the Fountain Spirit

Vodnika the Fountain Spirit was introduced in the Burst Protocol expansion set, a collection focused on elemental spirits and thematic water-based mechanics. The card was designed to support water-attribute archetypes, providing utility for players looking to manipulate the field through ritual-adjacent monster effects. Its inclusion in this set was part of a broader push by the developers to flesh out the lore surrounding mystical aquatic entities within the game's universe.

The character illustration reflects the aesthetic shift toward fluid, ethereal designs common in the set's era, utilizing soft blues and translucency to convey the spirit's watery nature. While not a flagship card, it was received by the community as a solid piece of deck-filling utility. Its design emphasizes the developer's intent to reward players for building attribute-specific strategies, a hallmark of the Burst Protocol expansion's structural design.
