Vylon Pentachloro

Vylon Pentachloro was released in the Duel Terminal 6b set, which debuted in the English market as part of the unique Duel Terminal arcade cabinet system. This series introduced the Vylon archetype, a group of celestial beings designed around an aesthetic of geometric shapes, metallic wings, and light-based motifs. The cards were intended to represent a narrative-driven war between different monster factions within the Duel Terminal lore, with the Vylons acting as an enforcement force aligned with the concept of absolute justice.

The design of Pentachloro centers on the signature white-and-gold color palette characteristic of the Vylon monsters, emphasizing a sharp, angelic, and highly synthetic appearance. Like many monsters in the Duel Terminal series, the card was illustrated to convey a sense of mechanical divinity, reflecting the trend of the era toward intricate, high-fantasy science fiction designs in the Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game. It remains a notable piece for collectors focusing on the lore-heavy early eras of the game’s expanded card sets.
