W-Wing Catapult

The W-Wing Catapult was originally introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game as part of the Magician's Force expansion in 2003. It was designed as a component of the Union monster archetype, created to facilitate the special summoning of the fusion monster XY-Dragon Cannon and, ultimately, the powerful VWXYZ-Dragon Catapult Cannon. Its design leans into the mechanical, heavy-industrial aesthetic characteristic of the Union monsters, which were heavily featured in the anime during the Battle City and later arcs to showcase modular, puzzle-like combat strategies.

This specific iteration, numbered LCKC-EN083, was released as an Ultra Rare in the 2018 Legendary Collection Kaiba Mega Pack. This collection was curated to celebrate the iconic cards favored by the character Seto Kaiba, reprinting essential support cards from throughout the game's history in a premium, holographic format.
