Warrior Dai Grepher

Warrior Dai Grepher is a recurring character in the Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game, first appearing in the Pharaonic Guardian set. As a member of the warrior sub-type, he was designed as a central narrative figure whose journey is depicted across multiple cards, illustrating his transformation and alliances within the game's expansive lore. He was created to serve as a versatile, low-level normal monster, providing a foundational element for players building deck strategies around warrior-themed synergies.

The Dark Beginning 2 set, which included this specific printing as DB2-EN140, was released as a retrospective collection designed to make popular cards from previous expansions more accessible to the community. By re-releasing the card in this common rarity format, Konami allowed new players to integrate staple character cards into their collections without the scarcity associated with original releases. The design maintains the original Kazuki Takahashi-inspired aesthetic, emphasizing a classic fantasy warrior archetype that has become a recognizable icon of the early 2000s era of the game.
