Witchcrafter Pittore

Witchcrafter Pittore was originally released in the 2019 Japanese set Deck Build Pack: Infinity Chasers and subsequently debuted in the English TCG as a Secret Rare. The card represents a key member of the Witchcrafter archetype, a group of spellcasters known for their ability to retrieve their own spell cards from the graveyard. This particular iteration was reprinted as an Ultra Rare in the 2020 Tin of Lost Memories Mega Pack, a product designed to provide players with accessible versions of high-demand cards from the previous year's releases.

The character design reflects the thematic core of the Witchcrafter series, which blends whimsical artistic archetypes with alchemical elements. The artwork depicts Pittore—whose name derives from the Italian word for painter—in a studio setting, emphasizing the archetype's narrative focus on crafting spells through artistic labor. The design was well-received by players for its synergy within spell-heavy decks, solidifying its place as a staple engine card for those looking to maintain hand advantage and graveyard recursion.
