XX-Saber Garsem was introduced in the Absolute Powerforce booster set, released internationally in 2010. It belongs to the X-Saber archetype, a group of Earth-attributed Warrior-type monsters that became a staple of competitive play during the Synchro era of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game.
