Zure, Knight of Dark World

Zure, Knight of Dark World debuted in the Elemental Energy booster set, released in the mid-2000s as part of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. The Dark World archetype was introduced during this era to emphasize mechanics involving card discards, a design choice intended to reward players for manipulating their own hand size. The lore surrounding these cards depicts the Dark World as a chaotic, demonic realm, with Zure serving as a representative of the foot soldiers within this organized subterranean hierarchy.

The visual design of Zure, Knight of Dark World, reflects the aesthetic conventions of the early-to-mid 2000s Konami releases, characterized by high-contrast metallic armor and ominous, otherworldly character proportions. While the card is a standard normal monster without specific effect text, it remains a notable piece for collectors focusing on the initial rollout of the Dark World series. It is generally regarded as an entry-level card within the set, appreciated primarily by players building theme-specific decks or completing sets from the Elemental Energy release.
