Anejiru 2 THE ANIMATION: Shirakawa Shimai ni Omakase

Anejiru 2: Shirakawa Shimai ni Omakase is a 2010 original video animation (OVA) produced by the Japanese studio Pink Pineapple. It serves as a direct follow-up to the studio's adaptation of the original Anejiru adult visual novel, continuing the narrative focus on the domestic lives and complex interpersonal dynamics of the Shirakawa sisters. As an entry in the adult animation market of the late 2000s, it reflects the prevailing industry trend of expanding successful adult game franchises into multi-part animated series.

The production maintains the house style characteristic of Pink Pineapple during this era, prioritizing character-driven scenarios and refined aesthetic presentation common in visual novel adaptations. The series was designed to appeal to existing fans of the source material by translating specific character archetypes and themes from the game into a serialized format. Upon its release, it functioned as a standard niche product for the adult animation demographic, receiving the typical limited distribution intended for collectors and enthusiasts of the erotic anime genre.
