Where it came from
Anomalies, a celebrated collaborative anthology, emerged from the intersection of speculative fiction and avant-garde literary experimentation. Conceived to push the boundaries of traditional narrative structures, the collection was curated to feature voices that challenge the conventions of genre, focusing on the uncanny and the peripheral elements of human experience.
The visual identity and layout of the volume were crafted to reflect the disruptive nature of the content. By utilizing stark typographic choices and unconventional page architecture, the designers aimed to mirror the disorientation found within the prose. Upon its release, it was noted by critics for its bold refusal to adhere to standard anthology formats, securing its place as a significant touchstone for experimental literature enthusiasts.
