Based on the erotic game by Alicce Soft.
Takamaru is a student at the Ten Treasure Academy, living an ordinary school life, seeking romances which are constantly interfered by Shihoudou Narika (the daughter of his apartment manager). One day, he fell in love at first sight with a transfer student named Takamori Haruka. On that very night, Takamaru and Narika became pursued by a group of mysterious ninja. Just when they thought all hope is lost, Haruka appeared in kunoichi attire. Haruka referred to Takamaru as "young boss", and asked him to do H stuff towards her. This gave her superhuman power that enabled her to defeat the mysterious ninjas.
However, this was just the beginning of a very long battle.

Where it came from
Beat Blades Haruka was produced by Milky Animation Label and released in 2009 as an original video animation. It emerged during a period of niche experimental anime production, functioning as a standalone action-fantasy project that blended supernatural elements with character-driven combat themes. The production aimed to deliver a compact, self-contained narrative experience, reflecting the studio's focus on smaller-scale animation releases common to the direct-to-video market of the late 2000s.
The creative direction for the project centered on stylized swordplay and atmospheric world-building, intended to distinguish itself within the competitive landscape of independent OVA titles. While the animation style was designed to prioritize kinetic energy during action sequences, the title received a muted critical reception upon its debut. It remains a deep-cut selection for enthusiasts of late-2000s boutique anime production, often analyzed for its reflection of the creative constraints and stylistic trends prevalent in independent Japanese studios of the era.
