Where it came from
Berserk of Gluttony, originally a light novel series authored by Isshiki Ichika, centers on Fate Graphite, a protagonist wielding a cursed ability that grants him power through consumption. Following the success of the debut season, which introduced audiences to the dark fantasy world and its unique RPG-inspired mechanics, the announcement of a second season serves to continue the adaptation of the ongoing literary source material.
The second season transitions production to Studio A.C.G.T., marking a shift in the creative oversight of the project. A.C.G.T. has been tasked with maintaining the visual identity of the series, focusing on the dark, atmospheric aesthetics established in the first season while refining the choreography of the combat sequences and the character designs that define the grim tone of the story.
