Where it came from
Released in 2018, this special event video was produced by Studio Pierrot to celebrate the success of the Black Clover anime adaptation. It serves as a commemorative piece that deviates from the series' high-stakes narrative, opting instead to highlight the camaraderie and whimsical interactions between members of the various Magic Knight squads, reflecting the lighthearted side of Tabata Yuki’s original manga world.
The production features the primary voice cast participating in a variety of staged activities and segments, showcasing the personalities behind the characters. Designed to bolster community engagement during the show’s early run, the special was well-received by fans for its character-driven humor and its ability to provide a brief reprieve from the intense magical battles central to the main storyline.
