Where it came from
BRIDGE -My Little Friends- is an original net animation (ONA) produced by StudioGOONEYS, released as a promotional short to showcase the studio's technical capabilities in high-quality 3D computer-generated imagery. The project reflects the studio's broader focus on blending fluid character animation with detailed environmental design, aimed at establishing their aesthetic signature in a competitive market for independent digital animation.
The creative direction behind the piece was rooted in a desire to experiment with expressive, stylized character movements that bridge the gap between traditional cel-shaded aesthetics and modern rendering technology. Upon its release, it was noted primarily within industry circles and animation enthusiast communities for its polished visual presentation and the studio’s adept use of lighting and texture, serving as a functional portfolio piece for StudioGOONEYS' capabilities.
