Classroom☆Crisis

Classroom Crisis debuted in 2015 as an original anime television series produced by Aniplex and animated by Lay-duce. The project was conceived as a blend of high school comedy and corporate science fiction, exploring the intersection of academic life and the pressures of a futuristic aerospace industry. It stands out in the mid-2010s anime landscape for its focus on workplace bureaucracy and engineering challenges, diverging from the more common fantasy tropes of the era.

The series was directed by Kenji Nagasaki and featured a screenplay by Fumiaki Maruto, who is widely recognized for his work on Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend. The character designs were provided by Hiro Kanzaki, whose aesthetic choices were intended to balance the distinct personalities of the student-employees with the polished, technological setting of the Martian colony. Upon release, the show received moderate critical attention, often noted for its unconventional narrative structure that prioritized character-driven political maneuvering over traditional action sequences.
