Dogeza de Tanondemita: Isekai-hen

Dogeza de Tanondemita: Isekai-hen was released in 2021 as a special addition to the Dogeza de Tanondemita franchise. This series originated from a popular web manga by Kazuki Funatsu, known for its humorous and unconventional premise centered around characters performing the dogeza—a traditional deep bow of apology or supplication—to achieve their romantic desires. The Isekai-hen iteration shifts the narrative focus to fantasy realms, adapting the core gag to a genre that was experiencing a surge in popularity at the time.

The animation was produced by Studio Adnero, which maintained the series' established aesthetic of straightforward, comedic storytelling. The project was designed to cater to a niche audience interested in gag-based ecchi shorts, emphasizing the absurdity of the characters' predicament through stylized character designs. Like the preceding entries in the franchise, it was received as a brief, lighthearted experiment that relied heavily on the shock value and repetition of its titular request-based premise.
