FORTUNE ARTERIAL: Akai Yakusoku - Tadoritsuita Basho

Fortune Arterial: Akai Yakusoku - Tadoritsuita Basho is a 2011 original video animation released as a direct follow-up to the television series produced by studio feel. The anime is based on the adult visual novel developed by August, a company noted for its distinct character design aesthetic. This particular episode was created to serve as a concluding chapter, expanding on the narrative arc that was adapted for television and providing a sense of closure to the story of the Shuchikan Academy and its vampire-themed mysteries.

The production sought to maintain the visual consistency established by the studio’s earlier work, focusing on the character-driven drama inherent to the visual novel source material. The character designs were handled by the studio’s animation team with the aim of replicating the recognizable style of the original game's artists, specifically catering to the existing fan base of the franchise. While the series received moderate attention within the niche of visual novel adaptations, this OVA was positioned as a completion piece for viewers invested in the anime's specific continuity.
