Fresh Precure! Omocha no Kuni wa Himitsu ga Ippai!?

Fresh Precure! Omocha no Kuni wa Himitsu ga Ippai!? was produced by Toei Animation and released in Japanese theaters in October 2009. As the seventh film in the long-running Pretty Cure franchise, it served as a mid-series feature film designed to expand upon the themes and character dynamics introduced in the sixth television iteration, Fresh Precure!. The story centers on the protagonist Cure Peach and her team as they are transported to a mysterious toy kingdom, aligning with the franchise's tradition of placing magical girls in fantastical, high-stakes environments that emphasize friendship and combat against forces seeking to erase joy.

The film was directed by Junji Shimizu, a veteran of the Toei stable who utilized the studio’s signature energetic animation style to distinguish the cinematic release from the weekly television broadcasts. The design work focused on bright, whimsical aesthetics for the Toy Kingdom, contrasting sharply with the more grounded setting of the series' primary narrative. Upon its release, the film was received positively by the franchise’s core audience, performing well within the competitive landscape of late-2000s Japanese children's animation and reinforcing the commercial viability of the Pretty Cure cinematic brand.
