After the original run of the television series, an OAV music video titled Genesis Climber Mospeada: Love Live Alive was specially (mostly due to demands of hardcore Mospeada fans) released in Japan in September 1985. The music video consisted of both old and new footage. The story of Love Live Alive chronicled the events after the ending of the original Mospeada, featuring Yellow Belmont as the main character. The music video focused on Yellow's concert and also on his flashback of past events.

Where it came from
Released in 1985, Genesis Climber Mospeada: Love, Live, Alive serves as a musical retrospective and epilogue to the original television series. Produced by Artmic, the OVA was crafted as a compilation feature that interweaves iconic animation sequences from the series with a newly recorded soundtrack, centered around the character Yellow Belmont. It emerged during a period when the studio sought to revisit and contextualize the legacy of its mecha-focused narratives through character-driven storytelling.
The project was heavily influenced by the visual style of Yoshitaka Amano, whose distinct character designs and atmospheric approach defined the aesthetic of the series. By focusing on the emotional resonance of the music and the journey of the protagonists rather than strictly combat-oriented plotlines, the release provided fans with a reflective look at the show's themes. It was received as a stylistic departure from traditional mecha sequels, prioritizing melodic storytelling and thematic closure over action-heavy sequences.
