Gridman Universe

Gridman Universe was produced by Studio Trigger and released in 2023 as the cinematic conclusion to the SSSS.Gridman and SSSS.Dynazenon television series. The project was designed to unify the narrative threads of both shows, bringing together their respective casts to confront a multiversal threat. It serves as a spiritual successor to the 1993 tokusatsu series Denkou Choujin Gridman, blending traditional Japanese practical effects aesthetics with Trigger's signature high-octane, fluid animation style.

Directed by Akira Amemiya, the film focuses on themes of connection and the legacy of creativity within the mecha genre.
