Hamtaro Movie 1: Ham Ham Land Big Adventure

Hamtaro: Ham Ham Land Big Adventure was released in December 2001 as the first feature-length theatrical outing for the beloved hamster franchise. Produced by Shogakukan-Shueisha Productions, the film was designed to capitalize on the immense popularity of the original television series and the wider Hamtaro phenomenon that dominated Japanese children's media at the turn of the millennium. The narrative follows Hamtaro and his friends as they explore a mysterious theme park, a setting crafted to provide a visually dynamic backdrop for the characters' adventures.

The film's aesthetic adheres closely to the character designs established by Ritsuko Kawai, the creator of the Hamtaro series.
