The power, precision, and skill needed for MLB players to reach the top of their game is almost superhuman. Now, that intensity is being showcased through the world of anime—connecting fans from America, Japan, the UK, and beyond.
The campaign features Shohei Ohtani as the Master of Both Sides of the Game, Paul Skenes as the pitcher with ferocious power to unleash, Aaron Judge as the Herculean hitter on a mission to become one of the all-time greats, and Juan Soto as the man who sees all and can change the game with just one swing.

Where it came from
Heroes of the Game emerged as a high-end trading card set produced by Upper Deck in the late 1990s, designed to honor the legacy of professional baseball through a focus on historical greatness. The collection was developed during a period of intense interest in premium, memorabilia-focused inserts, with the design team prioritizing sophisticated gold-foil accents and archival-quality photography to distinguish the set from standard mass-market releases.
The series was received by the hobby as a sophisticated tribute to the icons of the diamond, drawing praise for its clean, elegant layout that eschewed the chaotic graphic design trends common at the time. By selecting legendary players whose impact transcended their individual eras, the creators aimed to bridge the gap between vintage card collecting and contemporary luxury aesthetics, effectively anchoring the brand in the intersection of sports history and collectible art.
