Hoshi X kara no Rakko

Hoshi X kara no Rakko, released in 2024, is an original net animation produced by Kachidoki Studio. The project emerged within the studio's broader portfolio of short-form, minimalist animation, which frequently experiments with quirky, character-driven narratives designed for digital consumption and social media engagement. Its production reflects the studio's commitment to low-fidelity, comedic storytelling that prioritizes accessible, absurd humor over complex visual spectacle.

The animation was conceptualized to offer a brief, surreal escape for viewers, centering on its titular character with an aesthetic typical of the studio’s lean, budget-conscious production style. The design emphasizes simple, expressive character models intended to resonate with internet-savvy audiences. Upon its release, the work was received as a niche entry in the studio's catalog, appreciated primarily by fans of experimental Japanese shorts who gravitate toward the studio's distinctively deadpan and repetitive comedic timing.
