I'm Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class

I'm Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class is an anime television series scheduled for a 2025 release, produced by the studio Aniplex. It serves as an adaptation of the popular Japanese light novel series written by Seikei Kogitsune and illustrated by Neuron Age, which first began serialization online before being picked up for traditional print publication. The story revolves around the comedic and tension-filled premise of two classmates, who are rivals and share a mutual dislike, finding themselves forced into marriage.

The animation production seeks to capture the specific dynamic of the source material's 'love-hate' relationship, balancing character-driven humor with the social complications inherent in the setup. As an Aniplex production, the series is positioned within a broader trend of contemporary rom-com anime that emphasizes character chemistry and the visual aesthetics of high school life. The design and narrative direction aim to translate the light novel’s established fan-favorite moments into a cohesive visual format, focusing on the expressive character interplay that defined the original prose.
