Jiu Tian Xuan Di Jue 2

Jiu Tian Xuan Di Jue 2 is a Chinese original net animation (ONA) produced by Youku, serving as the direct continuation of the 3D fantasy series based on popular web literature. The production emerged from the rapid expansion of the Chinese streaming platform's animation department, which sought to capitalize on the growing domestic market for high-fidelity CGI cultivation series. By utilizing advanced motion capture and character modeling, the studio aimed to elevate the visual standard for xianxia-themed storytelling, focusing on intricate fight choreography and detailed aesthetic designs for its lead protagonists.

The series design and narrative structure reflect the industry-wide push toward serialized long-form animation, drawing heavily from classic martial arts tropes infused with modern digital art techniques. The animation team focused on refining the textures and fluidity of the characters compared to the first installment, aiming for a more cinematic feel. Upon its release on the Youku platform, it was received as a standard entry in the studio's portfolio, catering specifically to established fans of the genre who prioritize consistent world-building and character progression in serialized web animations.
