Where it came from
The K: Seven Stories film series was produced by the animation studio GoHands and released in 2018 to expand upon the narrative universe of the K anime franchise. This specific entry, Circle Vision - Nameless Song, functions as a thematic bridge that explores the emotional resonance of the series' central characters, prioritizing atmospheric storytelling and the studio's signature high-contrast visual style over traditional action-heavy sequences.
GoHands directed and animated these films with a distinct focus on architectural detail and vibrant color palettes, aiming to provide a deep-dive character study for long-time fans of the series. The project was received as a contemplative coda to the franchise, with critics noting its stylistic departure from the faster-paced original television series in favor of a slower, more deliberate pacing designed to emphasize the bonds between the members of the Seven Kings.
