Kao ni Denai Kashiwada-san to Kao ni Deru Oota-kun CM

The Kao ni Denai Kashiwada-san to Kao ni Deru Oota-kun commercial was produced by Studio Seven Arcs to promote the release of the manga series written and illustrated by Kuresuke Touyama. Released as a short animated promotional piece, it serves to capture the central dynamic of the story: the stoic, poker-faced Kashiwada and the overtly expressive Oota. The animation was crafted to distill the charm of the original work, emphasizing the visual contrast between the two leads that defines the series' comedic tone.

The animation reflects Seven Arcs' characteristic style, focusing on clean character designs that mirror Touyama's distinct manga aesthetic. By condensing the lighthearted, misunderstandings-driven narrative into a short-form format, the commercial aimed to draw readers toward the print volumes. It was well-received by fans of the genre for successfully translating the manga's quiet humor and character chemistry into a brief, engaging visual experience, effectively serving its purpose as a promotional bridge between the static page and potential animation.
