Kingdom of Chaos: Born to Kill

Kingdom of Chaos: Born to Kill was produced by Idea Factory and released in 2003, emerging during a period when the studio was actively expanding its multimedia output beyond its core business of console role-playing games. The OVA serves as a dark fantasy narrative, reflecting the studio's early experiments with gritty, mature aesthetics and character-focused storytelling that defined much of their visual identity in the early 2000s.

The creative direction of the project sought to translate the high-concept, often convoluted lore typical of Idea Factory titles into an animated format. As an entry in their broader catalog, the work is characteristic of the experimental approach the studio took toward character design and world-building, though it remained a niche release primarily targeting existing fans of the company's experimental gaming aesthetic rather than reaching a mainstream audience.
