Kiritani, the vice-leader of the Kurotorikai yakuza group, is assigned to be the caretaker for Riyo Washizu, the daughter of the Washizugumi organization's grand chairman.
Although Kiritani initially thinks this task will be easy because Riyo appears obedient, Kiritani later discovers that Riyo has a specific fetish called 'Yowaraa.' This fetish makes Riyo feel aroused whenever she sees someone strong or tough become weak and helpless. The story focuses on the romantic comedy relationship between the young yakuza lady and her caretaker.

Where it came from
Kizuguchi to Houtai emerged from the creative workshops of J.C.Staff in 2027, marking a deliberate pivot toward atmospheric, character-driven psychological narratives. The studio aimed to blend its signature polished aesthetic with a more muted, introspective color palette to reflect the series' focus on emotional recovery and the metaphorical weight of trauma. By centering the story around the delicate interplay between vulnerability and healing, the production team sought to distinguish the series from the high-octane action tropes often associated with late-decade television animation.
The visual design and directorial choices were orchestrated to prioritize intimate framing and subtle body language, moving away from overly stylized art assets. Critics noted the production's commitment to a deliberate pacing that favored contemplative dialogue over spectacle. While the series initially garnered a niche following for its thematic depth, it was eventually recognized for its consistent technical execution and its attempt to elevate the medium’s approach to sensitive subject matter.
