Konglong Baobei: Longshen Yongshi 2

Konglong Baobei: Longshen Yongshi 2, known in English as DinoCore: Dragon Warrior 2, serves as the second season in the South Korean-Chinese co-produced animated series DinoCore. Developed by Tuxedo Studio, the series was designed to blend the popular appeal of transforming mecha robots with dinosaur motifs, targeting a young audience interested in action-oriented storytelling and toy-adjacent media. It continues the narrative arc of the first season, focusing on the protagonist Rex and his team as they defend their world against evolving threats.

The production sought to improve upon the visual fidelity of its predecessor, utilizing 3D computer animation to highlight the complex mechanical transformations central to the series' merchandising strategy. The design language favors vibrant color palettes and sharp, angular character models, reflecting contemporary trends in international children's animation. Upon release, the series found a steady viewership within its primary markets, effectively bridging the gap between serialized television content and the physical toy line that functions as the core of the DinoCore brand identity.
