Konna ni Yasashiku Sareta no

Konna ni Yasashiku Sareta no was produced by the studio Mediabank and released as an original video animation (OVA) in 2014. The project emerged within the landscape of the early 2010s niche animation market, reflecting a period where smaller studios frequently adapted specific character-driven narratives or mature-themed titles for dedicated fan bases, rather than targeting mainstream broadcast television.

The design and production were heavily influenced by the contemporary aesthetic sensibilities of the boutique OVA format, prioritizing character intimacy and atmospheric pacing. As an independent production, the work was received primarily within enthusiast circles, where its visual style and narrative approach were evaluated against the broader output of independent studios operating outside the major industry conglomerates of the time.
