Liella’s Song

Liella's Song refers to the musical repertoire of the central idol group from the 2021 television series Love Live! Superstar!!, produced by NHK and Sunrise. Created as the fourth iteration of the long-running Love Live! multimedia franchise, the series follows a group of students at the newly established Yuigaoka Girls' High School who form a school idol group to save their school's reputation. The musical production for this series was designed to emphasize a shift toward a more sophisticated, orchestral pop sound, departing from the more synthesized electronic roots of the franchise's earlier entries.

The songs were composed by a rotating team of industry veterans under the direction of the production committee to reflect the specific character arcs of the five founding members of Liella. The music was received with significant interest within the Japanese domestic market, consistently charting on the Oricon music rankings. The success of these compositions effectively revitalized the franchise’s presence in the competitive idol anime landscape and solidified Liella as a cornerstone of the modern Love Live! era.
