Love, Election and Chocolate OVA

Love, Election and Chocolate, originally a visual novel by Sprite, was adapted into an anime series in 2012 by the studio AIC Build. The OVA, titled 'Love, Election and Chocolate: A Snowy Day, a Shower, and a Valentine,' was released in 2013 as a special bonus included with the limited edition Blu-ray and DVD releases of the series. It serves as a lighthearted epilogue to the main narrative, focusing on the character development of the protagonist, Yuki Ojima, and the various heroines from the original game.

The animation for the OVA maintains the aesthetic established by character designer Hiroaki Gohda, who adapted the original sprite illustrations from the visual novel. The production aimed to provide fans with a slice-of-life continuation that emphasized the romantic dynamics of the series. While the main anime received mixed critical reception for its pacing, the OVA is generally regarded by the fanbase as a gentle, fanservice-oriented conclusion that remains faithful to the visual novel's established tone and character archetypes.
