Love Hina Again

Love Hina Again, released in 2002, serves as the three-episode concluding OVA series for the popular Love Hina anime franchise produced by studio Xebec. Following the conclusion of the television series, these episodes were designed to bridge the gap toward the manga's ending, focusing on the resolution of Keitaro Urashima's quest to enter Tokyo University and his relationship with Naru Narusegawa. The production maintained the studio's established aesthetic, characterized by the slapstick romantic comedy tropes and character-driven storytelling that defined the series.

The animation direction and character designs continued to draw heavily from Ken Akamatsu’s original manga, aiming to provide a sense of closure for fans who had followed the series through its serialized run. While the project was met with the typical expectations of a high-profile harem anime finale, it is often viewed by critics as a supplemental epilogue rather than a departure from the established formula. The creative team leaned into the established dynamics of the Hinata House residents, ensuring the tone remained consistent with the lighthearted yet earnest nature of the source material.
