Loving Angel Angelique: Radiant Tomorrow

Loving Angel Angelique: Radiant Tomorrow was produced by Satelight and released in 2007 as the second season of the anime adaptation of the long-running Koei romance simulation game series. This installment followed the events of the first season, continuing the narrative of the protagonist Angelique Limoges as she navigates her duties as the legendary Etoile while contending with new threats to the cosmos. The series was designed to appeal to fans of shoujo fantasy, blending magical girl tropes with the harem and reverse-harem dynamics established in the source material.

The character designs for the series were adapted for animation by Maki Fujioka, whose work focused on capturing the ethereal and romantic aesthetic synonymous with the Angelique franchise. The production sought to expand upon the high-fantasy world-building of the games while deepening the character arcs of the various guardians. Upon its release, it was received as a niche entry intended primarily for existing fans of the franchise who were invested in the ongoing development of the visual novel narrative rather than a broad mainstream audience.
